| OBJECTIVES OF WDC ASIAN AMATEUR LEAGUE (WDC-AAL) | |
| VISION - WDC-AAL | |
| The WDC-AAL looks to expand the activity of Dance and organize Dance Championships using the motto ‘Freedom of Choice to Participate’. This vision is in line with the aspirations of World Dance Council & WDC-Amateur League (WDC-AL), Asian Dance Council (ADC), and the Asia Pacific Dance Sport Council. The WDC-AAL wishes to instill a sense of belonging and camaraderie within the Dance Fraternity in Asia. |

To recruit and promote Amateur Dancers from the dance fraternity in Asian Countries |
|
To have a platform for up and coming Amateur Dancers in the Standard & Latin disciplines to show of the their skills |
|
To provide a spring board for dancers to move forward and become world class dancers. |
|
To organize workshops for the respective dance styles and improve the standard of dancing by inviting overseas high level coaches to conduct classes in Standard & Latin disciplines - with an aim of students sitting World Dance Council medalists exams. |
|
To help WDC-AAL and ensure WDC-AAL Members who are qualified teachers with the minimum qualifications of Licentiate or equivalent by WDC-AAL recognized international exam bodies and to recommend them to attain International licensed as Adjudicators in their respective dance category. |

To create awareness that an alternative Dance Body exists that promotes a “Freedom of Choice in Participation”. |
|
To correct and repress other Representative Bodies of Dance Sport who are practicing suppressive and unreasonable controls. |
|
To ensure WDC-AAL’s objectives of freedom of choice for competitors’ participation are met. |
|
To be affiliated with WDC, ADC, APDSC, and all International Dance Bodies who are in line with WDC guidelines and follow Freedom of Choice in participation. |
|
To ensure fairness and transparency in WDC-AAL’s operations by allotting Members from various Asian Countries to the management committees and allocating various positions that can enhance the growth of dancing in Asian Countries. |
|
To ensure the policies of WDC-AAL’s objectives of FREEDOM from any form of pressure from any World or International Dance Bodies which may destroy the progress of freedom of choice in dancing and the operations and management of WDC-AAL. |
|
To implement a code of conduct that Asian Country Amateur Dancers adhere to ensure they are well respected within the Asian and International Dance Arena. |
|
To ensure fair selection of adjudicators and adjudication in all dance championships organized by WDC-AAL and to fortify respect for adjudicators by setting up an Adjudication Committee that regulate all matters pertaining to judging. |
|
To ensure all issues including complaints, be discussed in an appropriate forum with advance notification to members. |
|
To form various sub-committees that ensure the continuous development of activities and a tribunal committee that ensures fairness in the selection process of ranking dancers in WDC-AAL Championships and matters arising from dancers’ disputes and usage of doping under the WADA governing laws. |
|
WDC-AAL will endorse Asian Country Championships in Line with World Dance Council & WDC-Amateur League Rules and Regulations, and recognize them as a WDC-AAL Asian Grading Championships. |

Organizing World & International Dance Championships |

Inviting top coaches and lecturers to conduct classes to raise funds |

Hold social dinner dances and other fund raising events to help top Amateur dancers from Asian Countries to be represented in World & International, Asia and Regional Competitions. |

For the management of the WDC-AAL |
|
To make available monies for affiliation fees and traveling expenses for WDC-AAL representatives to attend World Congress and Dance Forums. |
| Profits received from the above actions will be channeled toward WDC-AAL’s funds to assist top Amateur couples from the selection grading points, to represent Asia respective countries to the WDC & WDC- AL World ranking competitions | |
